Twisting Econ

Welcome to ECON 201! This class is an experiement that we all are embarking on together.

There are some things I'd like to know about how to motivate you...what do you think the "best" way is for me to find out how to motivate you? Why do most of us act as if grades are a great motivator for you to work hard? Does this work? Why or why not? and most of all...what the heck does any of this have to do with economics?

  1. Is America still at the forefront of global economics? If not and if possible, how can we get back to the top?

  2. What is the question? My question would be why are people so different yet so alike? Evolution, right? Our bodies adapt to what we need to survival and take our surroundings into consideration. We are all humanoids, and are all trying to not just survive but thrive. What is so astounding, is that we all live in different environments and have all been through many generations to evolve and adapt. Sometimes, the differences will show, but the majority of us are so alike, that it is hard to believe that we have all evolved in such different cultures. This, is my question.

  6. People really fascinate and puzzle me. What I want to know is why everyone is always so busy running around trying to get somewhere or trying to get something done. Why can't we just stop, slow things down and just be?
